European Information Day in FV Plast

The meeting with company representatives has been attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, of the town of Čelákovice, of Czechinvest, of the design office and of the company performing construction works. A welcoming speech, introductory word and presentation of the twenty-year development of the company were followed by a presentation of company´s implemented and intended innovation projects. Afterwards, the guests took a tour around the production plant. A presentation of company´s investment and development activities included a symbolic tapping on the foundation stone of a new plant. This was followed by a presentation of product innovations and FASER pipe production processes with a support from the European Union. A ceremonial baptism of a new multilayer FASER pipe that uses the latest technology in plastics processing, i.e. fibreglass reinforcement, was not missing either. This innovation provides a FASER pipe with shape retention in temperatures of up to 90°C, long-term durability, increased stability also in larger distances of bearings and low thermal expansion. The event finished with an informal joint dinner of all participants at the U Bohuslavů restaurant in Čelákovice.
